Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MAHA Metro) is a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra tasked with the implementation, operation, and maintenance of metro rail projects across the state. Established in 2015, MAHA Metro is responsible for overseeing rapid transit systems including Nagpur Metro, Pune Metro, and planning new corridors. It manages planning, construction, signaling, train operations, and metro services to enhance urban mobility and sustainable public transportation across Maharashtra.
