NHSRCL Vacancy Trend and Our Analysis Notice 35 to 49
This is not NHSRCL's only recruitment running right now; it's the latest in a fast-moving 2026 hiring wave for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project. Earlier this year, the corporation released Vacancy Notices 08/2026 to 20/2026 for 15 IT and Safety posts; 21/2026 to 25/2026 for 34 Deputy Engineer posts; and 26/2026 to 32/2026 for 175 Junior Engineer, Controller, and Train Manager posts. At 237 posts, this technician notice is actually the single largest vacancy group NHSRCL has released in this entire 2026 cycle, bigger than the 175-post Junior Engineer round that preceded it. The pattern is clear: NHSRCL is now hiring across every seniority level for the same project, from technician all the way up to AGM/JGM, and it's doing so through a continuous series of absorption notices rather than one combined mega-recruitment. The Electrical (77 posts) and Signalling & Telecom (63 posts) disciplines together account for more than half of the 237 vacancies in this technician notice, making up 59% of the total. Candidates from a Civil/Track ITI background are competing for a comparatively smaller, more fragmented pool split across eight separate trade categories.
