Scientist B Jobs CERT-In Vacancy Trends and Analysis

This appears to be CERT-In's first large-scale initiative. Scientists & IT alone accounts for 83 of the 133 posts, well over half the total, which lines up with CERT-In's core mandate as the national cybersecurity incident response agency. Data scientists & AI and Electronics & Communication Engineering are evenly split at 25 posts each. Within the reserved categories, OBC (NCL) carries the largest share after UR, at 36 posts across all three disciplines, followed by SC at 18 and EWS at 11; ST, at 8 posts, is the smallest formal category. Since shortlisting for an interview runs at a 1:5 ratio by discipline and category, the effective competition a candidate faces depends heavily on which of the three GATE papers they hold, not just their raw score.
