NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, India’s largest power generation company. Established to spearhead NTPC’s renewable energy initiatives, NGEL is focused on the development, ownership, and operation of green energy projects including solar, wind, and hybrid power across the country. It plays a key role in achieving India’s clean energy targets and reducing carbon emissions by supporting the transition from conventional to renewable sources. NGEL operates under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, and is headquartered in New Delhi.
