MoD

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) is a key ministry under the Government of India responsible for maintaining and managing the country's defense and armed forces. It oversees the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and several Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs). The MoD formulates policies, allocates budgets, and coordinates national security efforts, procurement, research, and defense manufacturing. It works to ensure the territorial integrity and strategic interests of India both domestically and internationally.
