NADP

The National Academy of Defence Production (NADP), located in Nagpur, Maharashtra, is a premier central training institute under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. Established in 1978, NADP is responsible for training Group-A gazetted officers of the Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS) and other personnel in defence production and management. The academy offers a comprehensive 64-week induction program for probationary officers, encompassing modules in general administration, management, and technical training. The program includes attachments to various ordnance factories, DRDO labs, defence institutes, and armed forces units to provide practical exposure. NADP also offers an AICTE-approved 2-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Business Management, focusing on the defence industry. With state-of-the-art facilities and a commitment to excellence, NADP plays a crucial role in developing skilled professionals for India's defence manufacturing sector.
