1) Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications from a recognized university or institute by the Indian Nursing Council (INC): - B.Sc. (Honours) Nursing OR - B.Sc. (Regular Programme) Nursing OR - Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing OR - General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Diploma Along with this, the candidate must be registered with the Uttarakhand Nurses and Midwives Council, Dehradun, as of the last date of application. A valid or renewed registration is mandatory. 2) Other Desirable Qualifications: - Minimum 02 years of service in the Territorial Army OR - NCC 'B' or 'C' certificate 3) Language Requirement: Every candidate must have a working knowledge of the Hindi Language. 4) Residency: Candidate must hold a permanent domicile certificate of the state of Uttarakhand as of the last date of application. Candidates who are travelling to appear for exam are eligible for 50% discount on Uttarakhand Roadways (UKTRC) bus fares.
