Overview of RBI Recruitment 2026

The RBI Young Professional Programme will tentatively commence between August and October 2026. According to RBI Recruitment 2026 notification, a total of 12 vacancies are available for eligible candidates who must clear the selection process. A fixed stipend of ₹1,50,000/- has been announced by Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The contractual engagement nature is for Mumbai location. Terms and Conditions of Engagement for RBI Grade-B Recruitment

  • The tenure of engagement can be extended up to a maximum of 5 years. The decision will be based on the performance of the Young Professional (YP).
  • YPs will be subject to a notice period of 3 months; however, either parties can terminate the contract without any notice in the initial 6 months.
  • The working days and hours of the YP will be regular days and hours of the respective department. RBI will not provide any extra compensation for working beyond standard hours and / or working on weekends.
  • Young Professionals will be eligible for 15 days leave in a calendar year.
  • The monthly stipend of ₹1,50,000/- will be subject to tax deductions. YPs will not be eligible for any other allowance and / or benefits.
  • The Bank will not provide accommodation to the YP during their period of engagement.
  • YPs will be eligible for emergency dispensary facility (self) within the office premises.

  3. 3Find and click "Engagement of Young Professionals in Reserve Bank of India" under "June 15, 2026."
  4. 4Scroll down and select "click here" to read the advertisement in detail. Read the advertisement thoroughly and download / print the attached application form.
  5. 5Fill the application form, including the declaration, and affix the recent color passport size photograph.
  6. 6Attach all the required documents to the application form and submit it through email at [email protected]. Mention details in the subject line using the prescribed format, "YP Application - Post Code - Name of the Candidate."
  7. 7Candidates are required to produce all the documents, if shortlisted, for the next selection stage. The size of PDF attachments should not exceed 5 MB in total.

Selection Process for RBI Recruitment 2026

  2. 2Candidates will be selected through preliminary screening or shortlisting by a screening committee.
  3. 3Shortlisted candidates will move forward for document verification and an interview. Interview call letter will be sent to candidates only through email.
  4. 4Selected candidates will be informed about the status of their candidature.
  5. 5Candidates appearing for the interview have to make their own arrangements. Submitting applications or appearing for the recruitment process does not confirm final selection. Upon confirmed selection, candidates are required to join the post within the stipulated time.
