Description of NGEL Assistant Engineer & More Recruitment 2026
NTPC Green Energy Limited has opened its biggest hiring round of the year for experienced renewable energy professionals, and this NGEL Assistant Engineer & More Recruitment 2026 drive is worth considering if you have spent years on solar or wind project sites. Released under Advertisement Number 02/2026, the notification covers 114 posts across two grades: Assistant Engineer, RE (Asset management/Operation & Maintenance) at E-0 grade, and Deputy General Manager-RE at E-6 grade, for postings anywhere across NGEL's Corporate Center, Stations, Sites, Clusters, JVs, and subsidiaries in India. Online applications open on 11 July 2026 and close on 31 July 2026. The recruitment is a lateral, experience-based hire rather than a fresh graduate entry point; both posts demand a decade or more of site-specific solar and wind experience, so the eligibility fine print around exactly what counts as qualifying experience matters more here than the qualification itself.
