IRCTC Hospitality Monitor Recruitment 2026 Introduction

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) North Zone is conducting a walk-in interview drive for 92 Hospitality Monitors on contract. This recruitment will be for an initial term of 2 years, with a provision to extend for one more year subject to performance and the requirement of the organization. Direct entry for all eligible Indian nationals with a degree in hotel Management, Culinary Arts and tourism. Candidates will be paid a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹30,000 and applicable allowances. Selection is based on the verification of documents and personal interviews at five regional centres in June 2026. Candidates will have to present their credentials at any of the following centre: New Delhi, Srinagar, Chandigarh, Jaipur, or Lucknow. The form is open to all freshers, considering they carry a duly filled application form with their mark sheets, certificates, and category proof in original. This is a direct recruitment drive, and hence, there is no requirement to register online or pay an application fee beforehand.

Hospitality Jobs Salary

  • CTC: Rs. 30,000/- per month (including of Statutory Deductions)
  • Daily Allowance: Rs 350/- per day for on-duty on-board in train (s) (100% for more than 12 hours,70% for 6 to 12hours, and 30% for less than 6 hours)
  • Lodging Charges: Rs.240/- only if night stay is involved at outstation.
  • National Holiday Allowance (NHA): As per extant policy (if worked).

Education

(1) Full time B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from a Central or State institute of Hotel Management (CIHM/SIHM/ PIHM) affiliated to National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHM & CT)/ UGC/AICTE/Government of India. (2) BBA/MBA(Culinary Arts) from Indian Culinary Institutes under Ministry of Tourism. (3) B.Sc. Hotel Management and Catering Science from Government recognized Universities affiliated to UGC/AICTE/ Government of India/State Government. (4) M.B.A (Tourism and Hotel Management) from Government recognized Universities affiliated UGC/AICTE/ Government of India/State Government.

Experience

Freshers with relevant educational qualification are eligible to apply.

IRCTC Hospitality Monitor Recruitment Age limit

The Maximum Age limit is 27 years as of 1 May, 2026. Age relaxation will be given to SC/ ST/ OBC/PwBD/ Ex Serviceman applicants as per Government guidelines. Upper age is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST applicants, by 3 years for OBC applicants, and by 10 years for PwBD applicants. Ex-Service Men- Up to the extent of service rendered in defense plus 30 years.

IRCTC Recruitment : Candidates must Carry following Document

  • 10th class Mark sheet & Certificate.
  • 12th class Mark sheet & Certificate.
  • Graduation year-wise all Marksheets & Certificate/degree (Provisional Certificate/degree issued from concerned University may also be considered). Candidates passed out from IHMs should carry all six semesters marksheets, consolidated marksheet issued from IGNOU & degree/certificate issued from IGNOU.
  • Post-Graduation or any other higher academic/ education (year-wise all Marksheets & Certificate).
  • All Experience Certificates in chronological order.
  • Caste certificate supporting SC/ST/OBC category. OBC certificate should be for non-creamy layer category and should not be issued more than 1-year-old.
  • EWS/PwBD certificate (If applicable ).
