Konkan Railway Corporation Limited is a Government company under the Ministry of Railways. This Government company has released a new recruitment notification for 2026 as a walk-in. In this Konkan railway recruitment 2026, the notification was issued from CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai, on 14 May 2026. There are 132 vacancies as a Technician jobs on a contract basis in Mechanical and Project Department. The walk-in interview will be conducted over a period of 5 consecutive days in June 2026. Junior Technical Assistant (Mechanical) candidates need to appear on 8th June 2026. 2. Quality Inspector and Technician (Welder) Candidates are scheduled for June 9th, 2026. 3. Technician (EOT Operator) and Technician (Fitter) candidates are to appear on 10th June, 2026. 4. Candidates for the Vehicle Driver and Lister/Forklift Operator positions are needed on 11th June 2026. 5. Candidates for Hydra Operator and Office Boy/Helper/Khalasi must appear on 12th June 2026. The registration window on each day is only from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Candidates after 12:00 PM shall not be registered under any circumstances. Venue for all the posts: Administrative Building, Wagon Repair Workshop, Autonagar, Vadlapudi, Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

The consolidated monthly remuneration varies for different posts and for different classes of cities where the candidate is posted, i.e., Class A, Class B, and Class C Cities. Basic pay of a Junior Technical Assistant (Mechanical) and Quality Inspector will be Rs. 18,481, plus DA of Rs. 10,719. Their Consolidated monthly remuneration (Including HRA, conveyance, and Mobile allowance) is Rs. 47,220 for Class A cities, Rs. 44,300 for Class B cities, and Rs. 41,380 for Class C cities. Technician (Welder), Technician (Fitter), Technician (EOT Operator), Driver Lister/Forklift Operator, and Hydra Operator receive a basic pay of Rs. 12,025 plus DA of Rs. 6,975. Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 30,900 for Class A, Rs. 29,000 for Class B, and Rs. 27,100 for Class C cities. Office Boy/Helper/Khalasi receives a basic pay of Rs. 11,392 and DA of Rs. 6,608. The consolidated pay in Class A is Rs. 29,300, Rs. 27,500 in Class B, and Rs. 25,700 in Class C cities. An annual increment of 4% on consolidated remuneration will be applicable at the end of each contract year, subject to the discretion of KRCL and the recruitment of continued employees.

Candidates are required to bring the following documents in original along with one set of self-attested photocopies. Self-attested copies of educational qualification certificates should be submitted as per the notification annexure for the applied post. 1. Self-attested copy of Date of Birth proof, like an SSLC or SSC certificate or a birth certificate. 2. Cast Certificate as per the format required for Central Govt. employment (Copy). OBC-NCL candidates should ensure that the certificate clearly mentions the Non-Creamy Layer status and also the validity of the certificate. A certificate lacking validity will not be entertained. 3. Two recent passport-size photographs, signed on the front. 4. Experience Certificates issued by the previous employer on their letterhead with an official stamp. 5. A Character certificate from a Gazetted Officer/Executive Officer certifying the good moral character of the candidate. 6. Service certificate for Ex- Servicemen seeking age relaxation, if any. 7.
