AIIMS Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2026

Education Qualification for AIIMS 2026:

Candidates need an MBBS degree from an MCI-recognized institute, along with a completed compulsory rotatory internship and an internship completion certificate. Foreign MBBS graduates must additionally hold an FMGE certificate conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). Registration with the Medical Council of India, the respective state medical council, or an equivalent regulatory authority is mandatory before joining regardless of category.

Age Limit for Junior Resident 2026:

The upper age limit is 37 years. Relaxation is available up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. For Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD), relaxation goes up to 10 years for General category, 13 years for OBC, and 15 years for SC/ST.
