

The Sports Authority of India (SAI) is the apex national sports body responsible for the promotion of sports and the development of sporting talent in India. Established in 1984 under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, SAI manages various sports training centers, including National Centres of Excellence and Sports Hostels. It provides infrastructure, coaching, and financial support to athletes across disciplines.
