The National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) is a Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), Government of India. It was established on July 18, 2014 as a nodal agency for fast development of national highways and strategic infrastructure in difficult terrains like North Eastern Region (NER), Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
