The MSME Technology Centre, Indo German Tool Room (IGTR) is a premier institution established in 1990 through a collaboration between the Government of India, the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, and the Government of Maharashtra. Operating under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), it serves as a center of excellence in tooling and training solutions. IGTR offers comprehensive services including design, manufacturing, and consultancy for SMEs, supported by advanced CNC machines and technologies. The center specializes in precision tooling, rapid prototyping, and 3D manufacturing for both metal and plastic components. It is certified under multiple ISO standards and focuses on skill development and technology transfer to enhance the capabilities of small and medium enterprises.
