MP Power Management Company Limited (MPPMCL) is a state-owned power trading company under the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Initially named MP Power Trading Company Limited and renamed in 2012, it serves as the holding company for all DISCOMs in Madhya Pradesh. MPPMCL manages power trading, scheduling, grid operation, demand forecasting, and energy accounting. It also facilitates renewable energy procurement via long-term PPAs, deploys AI-enabled analytics for grid balancing and theft detection, and coordinates large-scale solar PPA agreements.
