MoMSME

The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MoMSME) is a central government ministry in India responsible for developing and promoting micro, small, and medium enterprises across the country. It formulates policies, provides financial support, credit facilitation, technology upgrading, and marketing assistance to MSMEs. Key initiatives include Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme (CLCSS), and One District One Product (ODOP). The ministry also oversees bodies such as the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) and the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC).
