MoFAD

The Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying (MoFAD) is a central government ministry in India, formed in May 2019. It is responsible for the development and regulation of the fisheries, livestock, and dairy sectors. The ministry formulates policies and implements programs to improve production, productivity, infrastructure, and socio-economic growth of fishermen, livestock rearers, and dairy farmers. Key schemes include Blue Revolution, National Livestock Mission, and the Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund.
