

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) is the government agency responsible for the conduct of India's relations with foreign countries. Established in 1948, MEA operates more than 200 diplomatic missions worldwide and represents India at the United Nations and other international organizations. The ministry manages bilateral and multilateral relations, oversees consular services, and handles issues related to the Indian diaspora.
