MoE

The Ministry of Education (MoE) is a branch of the Government of India responsible for the formulation and administration of the rules, regulations, and laws relating to education in India. Established in 1985 (formerly known as the Ministry of Human Resource Development until 2020), it oversees all aspects of school and higher education, including policy formulation, funding, assessment, accreditation, and regulation through bodies like UGC, AICTE, and NCERT. The Ministry promotes accessible, equitable, and quality education across the country.
