MoCI

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) is a central government ministry in India responsible for formulating and implementing policies related to foreign and domestic trade, industrial development, export promotion, and economic engagement. It oversees departments such as the Department of Commerce (including DGFT), the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), and agencies like the Export–Import Bank of India. The ministry works to enhance India’s global trade competitiveness, attract investments, foster industrial growth, and support small- and medium-sized enterprises.
