CAT

The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) is a specialized quasi-judicial body in India established to resolve service-related disputes and grievances of central government employees. It was set up on 1st November 1985 under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985, following the 42nd Constitutional Amendment which inserted Article 323A into the Indian Constitution.
