The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) is an autonomous organization under the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India. Established in 1973, ASRB is responsible for the recruitment of scientists and research professionals for the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and its affiliated institutes. It conducts national-level competitive examinations and interviews to ensure merit-based selection for various scientific and academic positions. Headquartered in New Delhi, ASRB plays a key role in strengthening agricultural research and education in India.
