CoHEG

The Commissionerate of Higher Education (CoHEG) is the state‑level body under the Government of Gujarat responsible for the administration and oversight of higher education institutions in the state. It formulates policies, coordinates with universities, approves curricula and academic standards, and oversees examinations and accreditation for colleges and technical institutes. CoHEG also implements state‑level schemes for scholarship, quality assurance, and infrastructure development in higher education.
