Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) is a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Karnataka. Established in 2007, BMRCL is tasked with the planning, execution, operation, and maintenance of the Namma Metro system in Bengaluru. It oversees all aspects of the metro network, including civil construction, signalling, train operations, and passenger services, to enhance urban mobility and reduce congestion in the city.
