SVPUAT Assistant Professor Jobs Vacancy Tread and Our Analysis

SVPUAT has run faculty recruitment drives in back-to-back cycles rather than once a year: a 19-post notification and a separate 42-post drive both closed in June 2025, and an even larger 108-post Assistant Professor and Teaching Assistant round closed that same June. The 126 posts on offer now are the university's biggest single-reach notification in this recent run, roughly three times the size of last year's 42-post drive. That scale-up matters for applicants; a university expanding this fast across so many specialized disciplines (Veterinary Parasitology, Dairy Chemistry, civil engineering, and Floriculture) is short-staffed across the board, not just in one department, so cross-disciplinary assistant professor candidates have a genuinely wider spread of openings to target this year than last.
