Selection Process for OPTCL Government Jobs in PSU

Stage 1 - GATE 2026-based Shortlisting For a personal interview, candidates will be shortlisted category-wise based on their GATE 2026 normalized marks (out of 100) in the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper. Only the GATE 2026 score will be considered; scores from prior years will not be accepted. Shortlisted candidates can download their call letter for the interview from the candidate login on the OPTCL website.

Stage 2 - Personal Interview and Document Verification Shortlisted candidates will need to get documents verified through Digi Locker as per the procedure in the interview call letter. The candidate must produce valid and original documents at the time of the interview. Government or PSU employees are required to produce an NOC.

Stage 3 - Medical Examination The final appointment will be confirmed only after the candidate has been declared medically fit as per the prescribed standards in the Pre-Employment Medical Examination. PwBD candidates will undergo verification by the authorized medical board on the date specified. Failure to be present at the medical examination will result in the rejection of the candidature.
