Selection Process
- 1
Shortlisting based on marks scored in NCVT (NAC/NTC). Cut-off percentage for calling candidates for Trade/Practical Test will be decided by the factory based on total NCVT marks.

Trade Test / Practical Test for shortlisted candidates.

Merit list prepared based on combined marks of NCVT Exam (80% weightage) and Trade/Practical Test (20% weightage).

Candidates qualifying NCVT and Trade/Practical Test will be called for Document Verification in order of merit, limited to number of posts (discipline/category-wise).

If candidates are rejected at Document Verification for non-fulfilment of criteria or missing documents, additional candidates will be called in order of merit, limited to number of rejected candidates. Tie-breaking order, (i) Ex-Trade Apprentice of Cordite Factory Aruvankadu (CFA), (ii) Ex-Trade Apprentice of other Ordnance Factories, (iii) Higher marks in NCVT, (iv) Older candidate by date of birth.
How to Apply
- 1Download and print the prescribed Application Form from the link provided in the official notification.
- 2Fill the form in BLOCK LETTERS only.
- 3Paste a recent passport size photograph (self-attested in front) firmly on the application form (do not staple). Enclose one extra self-attested photograph.
- 4Enclose self-attested copies of all required documents/certificates and check against the checklist.
- 5Superscribe the envelope clearly as: "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF TENURE BASED CPW PERSONNEL ON CONTRACT BASIS".
- 6Send the hard copy of the complete application set by post to: The Chief General Manager, Cordite Factory, Aruvankadu, The Nilgiris District, Tamil Nadu, Pin - 643 202.
- 7Additionally, send a soft copy (scanned copy) of the entire application and enclosures to email: [email protected] (email is only for receipt of applications, not for queries).
- 8Both hard copy and soft copy must reach on or before the closing date. If hard copy is not received in time, the application will not be considered even if soft copy is received.
- 9Submission of more than one application by the same individual for the post will lead to rejection.

- Declaration by OBC/Ex-SM candidates – Appendix-I / Appendix-II, as applicable
- Consent/Undertaking by candidates other than AOCP Trade – Appendix-III. All documents must be self-attested.
