Selection Process

Online application and fee payment.

Issue of call letters.

Candidate verification at rally site with call letter and photo ID (Voter ID/Driving Licence/Aadhaar).

Initial documentation: verification of original certificates for age, education, caste (for relaxation), sports and domicile/PRC.

RFID-based Physical Standard Test (PST) for height, chest (males) and weight as per category-wise relaxations.

Motor Ability Test (MAT) as per Lakshmibai National College of Physical Education (LNCPE) / Sports Authority of India norms.

Field Trial in respective sports discipline by Board of Officers; candidates must bring own sports dress/gear/equipment.

Detailed Medical Examination (DME) as per CAPF/AR medical standards including vision, physical health, tattoo policy; unfit candidates may apply for Review Medical Examination (RME) within about 24 hours; RME decision final.

Final merit list and provisional appointment letters to candidates who qualify all stages. Entry into service only after successful completion of training.
How to Apply
- 1Apply online only via official Assam Rifles website.
- 2Click on the “ONLINE APPLICATION” option and fill all requisite details in the application form.
- 3After filling the form, pay the fee either via online payment link provided or by depositing in any SBI branch; upload scanned copy of challan/receipt.
- 4Ensure functional email ID and mobile number (not DND) are provided, all communication regarding recruitment events will be via website notifications and email/SMS.
- 5Online application server will function from 10-01-2026 up to 09-02-2026.
- 6Candidates must bring printed application form, call letter, and original fee receipt/challan to the rally, failure to upload/produce fee proof or documents will lead to rejection.
