Eligibility Criteria for DSSSB Recruitment 2026
- Only Indian citizens are eligible.
- Candidates must fulfill all the mentioned requirements - age, qualification, and work experience, as & if applicable.
- Cut-Off date to determine the eligibility is July 15, 2026.
- Submission of application and / or participation in the recruitment process does not confirm selection of a candidate.
- Candidates must upload recent and clear color photograph to be considered eligible for DSSSB Assistant TGT Recruitment 2026.
Application Process
- 1Register on the DSSSB portal. This is a one-time activity.
- 2Use generated user ID and password to login to the account. Generated user ID and password can be used to apply for any posts that are notified by DSSSB.
- 3Register only once for an examination or a post. Multiple registrations will lead to cancellation, or may even get the candidate debarred from the examination by the Board.
- 4Read instructions while filling the form.
- 5Pay the fee and submit the application only through the online mode. Offline submissions through any mode will not be considered.
Selection Process
- 1Interested candidates must first submit the application form.
- 2Eligible candidates will be called for the Computer-Based Examination (CBT). Additional tests may be conducted based on the position a candidate has applied for.
- 3If selected, candidates are required to join the position within the stipulated time.

Important Notes Related to Examination
- DSSSB may change or amend the examination scheme at any time before the examination.
- Correct answers carry 1 mark each. Wrong answers carry a deduction of 0.25 marks each.
- Questions will be in Hindi and English.
- Link to mock test is available on the official website.
- Skill Test / Physical Endurance Test / Driving Test / Trade Test / Aptitude Test may be taken as per the job requirement.
- Minimum qualifying marks for General / EWS category are 40%.
- Minimum qualifying marks for OBC (Delhi) are 35% and SC / ST / PH (PwBD) are 35%. Ex-Servicemen will be given a relaxation of 5% in their respective categories, subject to a minimum of 30% marks.
Application Fee Exemption as per DSSSB 03/2026
- A non-refundable fee of ₹100/- is applicable for General (UR) / OBC / EWS Male candidates.
- Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are exempt; however, ESM already re-employed in regular Central or Delhi Govt post are not eligible for exemption.
- Women candidates, SC / ST candidates and PwBD candidates are exempt.
Disqualification Criteria as per DSSSB Notification 2026 PDF
- Candidates in possession of electronic equipment, like mobile phones, will be disqualified.
- Candidates found engaging in malpractices, like unfair means or impersonification, will be disqualified.
- Submission of forged or fabricated documents / information will lead to disqualification.
- Candidates found misbehaving within the premise will be disqualified.
- Candidates engaging in foul language or abusive language will be disqualified.
