Bank of Baroda Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Introduction
The Bank of Baroda (BOB) has officially announced its major recruitment drive for 2026, offering a huge opportunity for fresh graduates across India. The top public sector bank in India is looking to recruit 5000 apprentices under the Apprentices act, 1961 to enhance professional development and skill building in the banking industry. This mega drive for apprentice job initiative will include several states and union territories to provide young professionals with required on-the-job training and financial literacy. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to apply online through the bank's official website from May 19, 2026 up to the closing date on June 8, 2026. Under this 12 months training program, selected candidates will be given an opporunity to work with corporate banking operations with a monthly stipend of Rs 15000. General / Financial Awareness This section evaluates your knowledge of daily news, socio-economic developments, and banking structures. - Banking Awareness: Core banking terms, history of banking, types of bank accounts, and RBI functions/monetary policies. - Financial Trends: Digital banking tools, UPI, capital markets, and recent bank mergers. - Current Affairs: National and international news from the last 4 to 6 months. - Government Schemes: Major social and financial inclusion initiatives (e.g., PMJDY, PMSBY, PMJJBY). - Static GK: Headquarters of organizations, national parks, currencies, and awards. B.
