Amethi Banking Correspondent Sakhi (BC Sakhi) Recruitment 2026 Introduction

Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission(UPSRLM) has released an official notification for a targeted-district level recruitment drive for the Amethi district. A total of 166 vacancies are announced for the post of Banking Correspondent Sakhi (BC Sakhi). This is a contractual, initiative driven opportunity exclusively for local female residents who want to be part of digital financial inclusion at the grass roots level. The selection process is based on basic digital literacy and aims to empower women through self employment. Eligibility requires candidates to have passed class 12th, be active members of a registered local Self Help Group (SHG), and be permanent residents of the specific vacant Gram Panchayat where they wish to reside. Selected candidates will be provided financial support, including a monthly stipend for the first 6 months of setup and a low-interest hardware loan of Rs 75000 for setting up their mini ATM or Point of Sale (PoS) banking terminal, creating the conditions for a sustainable transaction-commission based livelihood.
