Application Process for AIESL Apprenticeship 2026

Selection Process for AIESL Apprenticeship 2026

Stage 1 - Eligibility Assessment by Committee Eligible candidates, after the committee's assessment, shall be considered for the post. Selected candidates will be appointed as Trainee - Aircraft Maintenance Engineer until they acquire a DGCA license or equivalent qualification within AIESL capability.

Stage 2 - Training and Bond Execution As per the company requirement, selected candidates will be imparted DGCA-approved type-rated B1/B2 training. Candidates are required to execute a bond as per the training policy before the commencement of the training type. Candidate must obtain a DGCA license or equivalent qualification after successful completion of training and experience requirements. If a candidate fails to qualify within 4 years of joining as a trainee AME, they will be reverted to the previous position, and the bond amount will be recovered.

Stage 3 - Absorption and Career Progression On completion of the training period and acquiring the DGCA license in the appropriate category, the candidate will be placed in the applicable pay scale. Allocation to Group A and B will be only after the mandatory training is completed. Allocation will be based on the individual's performance during training and existing vacancies in the respective group. Career progression will be as per the applicable AIESL policy for the respective cadre.
