Selection Process for SECR Apprentice Recruitment 2026
The selection process for apprentice jobs in SECR is based on the average of the percentage marks of the matriculation and ITI examinations. According to the Establishment Rule 201/2017, equal weightage will be given to both the matriculation and ITI examination marks. There is no written exam, and therefore, the selection is purely based on merit. Candidate must fill in their 10th and ITI marks on the portal. No higher education should be filled otherwise; the application will be automatically rejected. Selected candidates may be asked to bring a medical certificate during document verification. This medical document must be signed by a Government Doctor Gazetted and not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon of a central or state hospital. Selected candidates or the guardian of a minor must enter into the contract of Apprenticeship with the employer.
