UPSC ESE Admit Card 2026 Introduction
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the UPSC ESE Admit Card 2026 for the candidates who are appearing for the Engineering Services Mains Examination. Candidates who cleared the preliminary examination can now download the admit card from the official UPSC online portal. The Engineering Services Mains Hall Ticket was released on 12 June 2026. The Mains Examination will be held on 21 June 2026. Candidates must carry a printout of the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the examination center.

UPSC ESE Selection Process 2026
- 1Preliminary Examination: Candidates appear first in the preliminary examination of the objective type conducted by the UPSC. The candidates who qualify for this stage are only shortlisted for the Engineering Services Mains Examination.
- 2Main Examination: Only qualified candidates shall appear for a descriptive Mains Examination in their discipline of engineering.
- 3Personality Test / Interview: The candidates who qualify in the Mains Examination are called for the UPSC Personality Test. The interview evaluates technical knowledge, communication skills, confidence, and fit.
- 4Final Selection: The final merit list is prepared by considering the scores obtained in the Mains Examination and an interview. The posts of Engineering Services are filled on the basis of higher combined scores of candidates.

How To Download the Admit Card?
- 1You can visit the official UPSC online portal and click to open the admit card section.
- 2Click on the link titled "Engineering Services (ESE) Mains Admit Card 2026." To access your admit card.
- 3Enter your Registration ID or Environment Number in the required login field without any mistakes. Then enter your Date of Birth and other required details requested on the screen. All details should be as submitted during registration.
- 4Click on the "Submit" button to proceed.
- 5Your Engineering Services Mains Hall Ticket will be displayed on the screen with all details.
- 6Check all the information carefully, such as your name, roll number, exam date, and exam center.
- 7Download the admit card PDF and store it on your device. Please take 2 or 3 printouts and keep them safe for examination day.

You bring one original government-issued photo ID to verify your identity. 3. You should keep a recent passport-size photograph handy as a backup for verification. 4. Candidates also bring a blue or black ballpoint pen for attendance and exam formalities.
